There’s a new Malibu condominium in town, and this luxury condo is sporting smart-home features. Cavalleri, developed by Pacific Eagle out of San Francisco, has teamed up with Amazon to add Alexa to their development.

This luxury development, formerly the Villa Malibu apartment community, recently announced the addition of Alexa to their development. In addition to European Oak hardwood floors, and gas fireplaces, the units will be Alexa compatible for such things as:

  • Appliances
  • Blinds
  • Lights
  • Water heaters
  • And more

Imagine, waking up in the morning and saying, “Alexa, I want to see the ocean.” Then, without moving from your bed, the blinds open to provide you with a beautiful view of the coast. More importantly, each owner will be able to customize their own controls.

Other Smart Technology

Pacific Eagle did not, however, stop with Alexa. Each condo will also have the Nest thermostat. This unit connects your thermostat to an app via Wi-Fi and actually learns your schedule. Then, without the need to do a thing, the thermostat adjusts according to your normal living patterns.
